Since the 2024 launch of the first editions of The Rainbow Guide Sunderland, the publication has seen significant growth, expanding from 28 to over 70 pages and continuing to add new content regularly. This expansion reflects our commitment to providing comprehensive resources for parent carers. In late 2024, we further extended our reach with the introduction of The Rainbow Guide Durham and The Rainbow Guide South Tyneside, broadening the scope of information available to families across the region.
Our Holistic Support Service
Introducing our exciting new Holistic Support Service designed especially for parent carers, Think Rainbow Guide but in Real life! With funding from The National Lottery Community Fund this innovative service is all about providing tailored, solution-focused support for families navigating the journey of a diagnosis for their child. We believe everyone deserves assistance, regardless of where they are in the process, and we're here to help those who may not know where to start.
Our Counseling Service
Choice Wellbeing Service, with generous funding from The National Lottery Community Fund, provides professional counselling for parent carers. This vital service can be delivered alongside our Holistic service & features qualified, insured, and BACP-registered therapists. Clients can engage in 8-12 sessions of confidential talking therapy, utilizing various therapeutic models tailored to individual needs, all within a calm and welcoming environment.
